The Truckee-Carson Irrigation District is hold two special meetings regarding diverting water into the Truckee Canal.

Both meetings will be in Fernley at the City of Fernley chambers, 595 Silver Lace Blvd. The first meeting will be Thursday at 5:30 p.m., and the second will be Monday at 6 p.m.

According to a press release from TCID, the Truckee Canal Safety Commission may take action on whether to divert water at Derby Dam, the intent of completing construction on the canal and discuss the present status of the canal.
