E. JANE DAVIS, age 86, passed away on March 6, 2010 at home in Fallon with her daughter by her side.

Jane was born August 18, 1923 in Lynch, Neb., to Clifford J. and Grace A. Duffy Hurless and had lived in Fallon a short time, coming to be with her daughter.

She lived many years in Stockton, Calif.

She graduated high school from Lexington High in Lexington, Nebraska and also attended Van Saint's School of Business in Omaha, Nebraska.

ON December 19, 1948 she married Lynn H. Davis and they had 3 children. Larry Lynn (deceased); Jeannie Ann and Luann Kay.

She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Stockton; the Philomathean Club LTD. and an inactive member of Valley Oaks Chapter No. 50

Order of Eastern Star and St. Joseph's Medical Hospital Auxiliary.

Jane was employed by the North American B-25 Bomber plant in Kansas City KS; Nebraska Natural Gas Co. in Lexington and Fremont, NE; Mutual of Omaha in Stockton; and for many years worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Port of Stockton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn H. Davis and Son, Larry Lynn Davis; Sister and brother in law Eloise and Ralph Batie; and son in law Ryan Pulley; in laws, Lucille Grimsley and Gayle J. Davis; and Marilyn Davis.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanie Pulley of Fallon; Luann Kay Berndt (Dave) of Valley Springs, CA; and by wonderful in laws, Cecile Ilgenfritz of Stockton, CA; and Bill Grimsley of Iowa and their families who were dear to her.

Services were held in Fallon on March 8 at Smith Family Funeral Home. Private entombment will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, Calif.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association 1212 W. Robinhood Drive, Suite 5D Stockton, CA 95207
