Kepa Junkera is a master of Basque-style diatonic accordion, and one of the most innovative musicians in Europe who has performed with world-renowned musicians from the Chieftains to Andreas Vollenweider as well as at concert halls throughout Europe and the British Isles.

Over the years he has incorporated improvisational elements into the traditional Basque dance music as well as bringing some folk-rock sounds into the mix.

In 1999 he released “Bilbao 00:00” a double album tribute to the city where he was born which featured collaborations with many world-class musicians including Bela Fleck, Cristina Branco, Paddy Maloney and many others. His 2006 release, “Hiri,” was named the Best Album of World Music in Europe for its fascinating blend of tradition and contemporary elements.

If a fall roadtrip sounds good, you might want to consider going to Eureka on Nov. 13 to catch Paul Zarzyski and Wylie Gustafson at the Eureka Opera House, fresh from a performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

Well-known Montana-based cowboy poet Zarzyski spent 15 years as a bareback rider on the amateur, pro and senior circuits. His books have won both a Western Heritage Award from the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and a Spur Award from the Western Writers of America. He has performed at the annual National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko every year since its inception.

Yodeler-extraordinaire Wylie Gustafson has received acclaim for performances with his band, The Wild West, and played here in Fallon a few years back. He's recorded more than 15 albums and appeared many times on both “The Grand Ole Opry” and “Prairie Home Companion.”

The performance in Eureka will begin at 7 p.m. For more information and tickets, call the Opera House at (775) 237-6006
