Churchill County Parks and Recreation conducted the Fallon area NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition at E.C. Best Elementary School on Oct. 16.
Four boys and three girls from Fallon qualified for the sectional competition at Stodick Park in Garnderville on Sunday.
Fallon boys participating will be Jayden Hale in the 8-9 years olds, Cade Monardo in the 10-11s, Morgan Dirickson in the 12-13s and Xavier Piper in the 14-15s. Girls are Stacey Kalt in the 8-9s, Kalyn Huckaby in the 10-11s and Juianne Hale in the 14-15s.
Winners advance to the sectional competition in Oakland on Nov. 22. They will compete in the morning at a park near the Oakland Coliseum, then attend the Raiders game against the Cincinnati Bengals where they will be invited onto the field to demonstrate their skills before the game. Regional winners advance to the national competition in December.
Monardo and Dirickson made it to Oakland last season, but neither advanced to the national competition.
