It's hard to believe we are into July already! What a summer so far with all that rain and odd weather. Hope you all enjoyed your Fourth of July.
If you haven't been back to our center since our remodeling, now is the time. It's cool inside and looks brand new inside and out. We have a lot of new activities for you to enjoy.
Some of the new activities are the “Oasis Squares” who hold square dancing every Friday night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and everyone is welcome.
Then we have the Bridge group which meets Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. and our regular terrific Exercise Class on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. After exercise on Wednesdays we have Line Dancing. Bingo on Mondays and Thursdays after lunch and then computers (three of them) on line for seniors to use.
We have a puzzle table that has become quiet a meeting spot in the afternoons and it is very enjoyable.
As you can see, we are getting a lot of use out of our Club 60 room. If you have a group that would like to meet here, and join us for lunch, please let us know.
In the meantime, remember the heat can dehydrate seniors and become a serious problem so drink those two or three extra glasses of water each day!
