Manuel was born to Manuel and Gloria Mello in New Bedford, Mass, on Feb. 4, 1921. He is survived by his wife of 30 years and other family members.
Services will be held Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. at the Lovelock Funeral Home, 655 11th St., in Lovelock.
