'Business After Hours' event held Wednesday
The Churchill Economic Development Authority, CEDA, will hold a "Business After Hours" mixer at Century 21 Green Valley Realty July 23 from 5:15-7 p.m. Use this opportunity to network and meet fellow business people in the community. For more information call CEDA at 423-8587.
Eagles serve breakfast Sunday, proceeds to help injured teen
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. July 20 at the Eagles Hall, 7977 Reno Hwy. A portion of the proceeds from this breakfast will be donated to the family of Rodney Cates, a young teen recently injured in an accident. His family is accruing medical and travel expenses, and the Eagles want to help.
The menu includes scrambled eggs, hash browns, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, juice, coffee, biscuits and gravy. All-you-can-eat cost is $6 adults and $3 for children 10 and under. All net proceeds will go to benefit Eagles charities.
