The second Western Nevada College and Greater Nevada Mortgage Services Golf Tournament was a big success.

The tournament attracted nine teams from Fallon, Reno and Carson City and netted $2,037 from registration, hole sponsorships, mulligans and raffle sales.

Proceeds will fund $500 scholarships for Churchill County High School graduates who enroll at WNC. Many thanks go to the golfers, Associated Students of Western Nevada volunteers, Churchill Economic Development Authority, merchants, raffle prize donors and Greater Nevada Mortgage Services.
