RICKIE RAYMOND BENNETT, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2008 at his residence in Fallon. Rickie was born October 13, 1959, in Laona, Wis, to Charles Raymond and Mildred Marie Kulaf Bennett, and he had lived in Fallon for 1 1/2 years, coming from Reno.
Rickie worked as a custodian for the Churchill County School District at the high school. He had also worked for 13 years with Washoe County School District. He loved his job and was very dedicated to it. Rickie was an excellent cook. He loved NASCAR racing and loved his dogs. He also worked for many years for Round Mountain Gold Corp, Rickie is survived by his parents and sister Theresa Bennett, all of Fallon.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Churchill County Cemetery in Fallon under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Fallon, 423-2255.
