Lost Ledge is Located by Smith at Shadyrun
Joseph Jordon, the special correspondent who accompanied the delegation of mining men to Shadyrun last Saturday, sent the following account to the Reno Journal.
The day was spent in the hills, shoveling, picking and panning, and those who went there for the first time were amazed by the showing of the camp and the picturesque surroundings of Shadyrun.
Frank Smith, the locater of Shadyrun, located the old workings of the mine, and a few weeks ago began prospecting in the tunnel for the lost ledge.
Shadyrun is a district of great ledges.
