Fallon City Council meets on Tuesday

The Fallon City Council will hold a regular meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Fallon City Hall, 55 W. Williams Ave. The following items are on the agenda:
• Presentation to the Churchill County High School Academic Team
• Recognition of the city of Fallon's employee of the quarter
• Request by the Fallon Men's Softball Association for an on-premises/restricted liquor license at the North Maine Ballpark.
• Adoption of a resolution providing for the transfer of the city's 2008 Private Activity Bond Cap to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority
• Introduction of a bill to annex 0.77 acres on South Maine Street, APN 07-752-17. The property is the former Amerigas lot across the street from Fallon Industries.
• Set a date for a public hearing to set zoning for the above property.
• Approval of a contract with PBS&J for construction management services at the Fallon Municipal Airport
