Staff report
More than two months after authorities were contacted about a Jan. 18 teen party, where an alleged gang rape occurred, no information is still being given out.
District Attorney Art Mallory reiterated Monday morning that his office is waiting on the report from the Lyon County Sheriff's Office to determine what if any charges should be filed against the teenagers involved.
The district attorney's office has reviewed the report of an adult woman, who allegedly held the party where alcohol was served to underage children.
"There may be conflicting or additional evidence," Mallory said of the two reviews. "It might make a difference on the adult (case). We are waiting on the additional reports so we can make that judgment. We need to find out what the truth is."
