The University of Nevada and Fallon families are holding a scientific symposium open to the public Monday at UNR on the research projects funded by the EPA through federal appropriation funds to examine potential causes of the cancer cluster.
Presenters include Dr. Dana Loomis, Dr. William Murphy and Dr. Chris Pritsos, all from UNR; Dr. Joseph Wiemels from the University of California, San Francisco, and Dr. Mark Whitten from the University of Arizona.
The symposium will take place Monday from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the William Raggio Building, room 1003. For more information, contact Dr. Ruth Gault at UNR School of Medicine at 775-784-3558.
