Helen L. Lawrence passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at Highland Manor of Fallon.

Helen was born Dec. 24, 1918, in Winnemucca to Carl and Olie Johnson of Unionville. She moved to Fallon with her parents in 1919. Her parents farmed on Swingle Bench for many years. She was the middle child of three children.

Helen was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Dick Lawrence; and brothers Herman Johnson and Robert T. Johnson.

Helen is survived by daughters Louise (Merlin) Meisner, of Valley Center, Calif., and Bette Lawrence, of Medford, Ore.; son and daughter-in-law Rick and Mavis Lawrence, of Fallon; grandchildren Clay and Janel Lawrence, Brenda Lawrence, of Fallon, Susan and Craig Adams, of Valley Center, Calif., Milton and Robin Meisner, of Utah, Drs. Monte and Tamera Stewart, Rod and Cindy Stewart, and Tommi and Troy Albrecht, of Oregon; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 31, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Gardens Chapel.

Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 1:30 p.m. at The Gardens Chapel with interment to follow at the Churchill County Cemetery.
