Signals on Williams to undergo upgrades

Print Comment
The Nevada Department of Transportation with the cooperation of the city of Fallon will perform upgrades to the signal systems on Williams Avenue at the intersections of Allen Road and Maine Street, according to information provided by NDOT.

The work will begin Tuesday and will take approximately 40 days to complete. Minor delays may be incurred during this time due to the necessity of using lane closures for construction vehicles and work being performed.

The upgrades include new dedicated left turns northbound and southbound at Allen Road. At Maine Street, new decorative poles will be installed with dedicated left turns, upgraded emergency vehicle detectors and a new signal operating system.
