Jack C. Harris, 80, died Nov. 30, 2006, at Holderman Hospital Veterans Home of Yountville, Calif. from Cancer.
Jack was born in Los Angeles, Calif. June 26, 1926. He was raised in the Oakland and San Francisco area. Jack and his mother and father moved to Las Vegas in the 1940s. His father was in the hotel business.

Jack attended Las Vegas High School where he was the "all star tackle" football player and where he met his high school sweetheart, Flavia. They were married for 61 years.
Jack volunteered in the WWII Navy Submarine Service. He was assigned sonar and 5-inch canon gun. Jack and Flavia were entrepreneurs, and moved to Fallon in the late 1970s where they continued their business endeavors as a barber shop owner; trophy shop and a pool and spa owner. Jack was also a member of the Bahai faith for 38 years. He always had a good sense of humor, and he will be greatly missed.
Jack is survived by his son, Stanley R. Harris of Montana; daughters, Cathy J. Harris of Fallon, and Linda L. Ferodi of California; sister, Lois Marincic of Arizona; sister-in-law, Michelle Moran of Nevada; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
