Thanks for help with cemetery project

The Churchill County Cemetery Board would like to thank the Fallon Genealogy Club members for their help in creating a database of the Cemetery Receipts 1951-1983 and the additional help they gave creating the Cemetery Index of Graves in the Churchill County Public Cemetery.

The following people were involved in the receipt database; Claudia Crowley, Georgia Cavanaugh, Barbara Hodges, Judy Northrup, and Vicky Tripp. Jane Pieplow, director of the Churchill County Museum, was kind enough to allow the use of equipment at the museum.

The following people were involved in the Cemetery Index of Graves: Mary Louise Erb, Barbara Hodges, Vicky Tripp, Kenny Tripp, Kathi Wilson, Peggy Ferrier, Carol Fitzsimmons, and Yvonne Harrigan-Prettyman.

Bunny Corkill from the Churchill County Museum was able and willing to provide any additional infonnation while creating the Cemetery Index.

Smith Family Funeral Home was instrumental in providing infonnation from their historical records to fill in pertinent infonnation in the Cemetery Index.

Jeri Tuohy from Lahontan Valley News provided obituaries for the years 1995-2001 just recently.

Without their help, the cemetery would not be able to provide the Cemetery Database online.
